Reviews and Ratings
The hotel excelled in offering clean and comfy rooms with exceptional service that went above-and-beyond. The central location near the Fife Coastal Path and train station was ideal, but dining options could be improved. Overall, a great value for money stay.
The hotel is located in a wonderful spot, just right for my liking, close to the coast and within walking distance of various attractions. The rooms were clean, warm, and cozy with a pleasant view of the garden. The service was exceptional, creating a welcoming and enjoyable stay. The dining options were good, although a bit more variety could be offered. A fine choice for those seeking a convenient stay with a friendly atmosphere.
I was welcomed warmly and shown to a cozy double en suite room that opened up to a terrace with a view of the beer garden and chimney. The service was super helpful and the staff went beyond being helpful, always friendly and polite. The location couldn't have been more convenient, close to beautiful white sand beaches, St Andrews, and Edinburgh, with interesting history surrounding the area. The dining experience was a bit chaotic at times, especially at breakfast, but the hotel offered seasonal local products. Overall, a great stay with minor dining inconveniences.
I loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. The food was excellent, and being able to park right outside the room door in the stable block was so convenient. However, the dining experience was nothing too exciting.
The hotel room, while being generously sized for disabled access, was clean, well-equipped, and boasted a huge double bed. The great shower in the en suite added a nice touch. I found the room comfortable overall, though sleeping with the windows open due to heatwave conditions brought in some noise from the courtyard area, which is somewhat expected in a busy hotel near a local pub on a Friday night.
